Radio talk show in Makeni, Bombali District
For more than a decade, too little was done by government and other institutions to address the difficulty of accessing justice, human-rights violations and abuses, and advocacy on economic, social and cultural rights in northern Sierra Leone and beyond.
In 2010, a group of like-minded paralegals and human-rights activists who had worked with law firms and human-rights organisations established the Legal Access Centre to support government and related organisations in the protection and promotion of legal services at community level and beyond.
Legal Access Centre is an independent, non-political, non-profit organisation that works for the wellbeing of all Sierra Leoneans.

Legal Access Centre is a SiLNoRF network member in Bombali, contributing community-level legal support, human-rights advocacy and public education, including radio engagement in Makeni.
