Established in 2003, Humanist Watch Salone (HUWASAL) is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and incorporated in Sierra Leone as a private company limited by guarantee.
HUWASAL works toward empowering marginalised groups and promoting governance and human rights, child protection and development, health, responsible land governance and investment, women empowerment and protection, peacebuilding and social cohesion, and climate and environmental justice. The organisation works in highly deprived and mostly isolated communities with limited social infrastructure that makes it harder for communities to thrive and connect.
